Corvette Z06 rental profile view review mph club

What’s up, everybody? My name is Robert Rushing with mph club, and we’re back with another review. Today, we’re at the Fontainebleau hotel in Miami Beach where if you’re ever picking up or dropping off your exotic car rentals, here’s a really convenient place to do so. Today we’re going to review the Corvette C7 Z06.

This is a V8 with a supercharger that produces 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. Today we’re going to show you how scary that is to drive, how much fun you can have behind the wheel, what it’s like on the road and what we think. Without further ado, let’s get into the review.

The Chevrolet Corvette was first released in 1953. And since then, over the years, the Corvette name has seen constant design changes, improvements, iterations, and most recently a new engine configuration. However, the C7 rental is a monster. It’s going to be the last, latest, and greatest front-engine sports car, and the first most notable design feature you’ll see is these aggressive body lines that follow all the way through the car.

Our model is yellow with these crazy matching rims, has a functional vent hood, functional side vent with matching side skirts, accents, and a removable top. So later in the video, we’re gonna show you how to take the top off so you can experience the true Corvette experience.

Moving on down, we have a quad-tip exhaust back here,  brand new redesigned tail lights, the doors, the trunk, the front hood are all electronic. Every mechanism in this car is electronic. It’s pretty cool.

This is your giant trunk space. There’s enough space to fit about two suitcases and two carry-ons. So if you’re going on a road trip, for example, this could be a perfect grand touring vehicle. If you want to go fast and you want to bring a lot of stuff, this is a great option.

Here she is. The Corvette LT4. The Corvette’s no longer powered by the LS engine. This is a V8 supercharged motor that produces 650 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. This one-to-one ratio of horsepower and torque gives you the driver, a feeling of ultimate power in a scary way. If you’re renting a vehicle and say you want something luxurious, like a Rolls Royce, this is the complete opposite of the spectrum.

A car like this is for the auto enthusiast who wants to have fun and wants to feel the adrenaline. Be safe, but this is the car to do that with. We had to show you the engine. It looks great. It also comes with the Z06 heat shield, which looks incredible and it matches the style and sportiness of this vehicle.

So what we’re going to do next is get inside the car, talk about the interior and then finally get on the road.

What’s up, man? Yo, we’re in the middle of their review.

What do you think about this car?

I love it.

Yeah, someone told me this was your favorite car in the fleet.

This is nothing like American muscle.

We got to put that on the t-shirt. You heard it here first, ladies and gentlemen, this is the best car in the fleet. Drop drop down in the comments below which part you like best. If you think this Corvette rental is better than some of our Lamborghinis, let us know.

Now we’re in the interior of the Z06 and there’s a lot to go over.

First, you will definitely notice this roof is insane. This is a removable top, but when it is on, it’s actually transparent and you can see it’s kind of similar to like a panoramic kind of sunroof. Except, It’s all just one piece. Onto the rest of the car, you have a digital display, you have a heads up display and you have a digital touchscreen for your center console.

Everything about this car is upgraded, electronic like modern.

So, the next thing we should do is turn the engine on and hear what it sounds like. But before we do, don’t forget to press the like button. It really helps the growth of our videos a lot. We’d appreciate it. And without further ado.

We’ll put it in track mode. So when you’re on track, you should hear the exhaust system open up a little more. So tell me what you think in the comments. It sounds so much better on the track.

I wonder how this car performs in the rain. Guys, now we’re going to show you how to take the roof off of the Z06, how to install it in the back and so you can properly enjoy the Florida sunshine when you’re renting this car.

Step one: I’m going to fold down these sun visors exposing two latches here. You pull both of these latches towards you releasing it from the roof. And there’s one final latch behind you, which is just this switch that is now released. Now, the next thing you want to do is press the button here to release the trunk, so you have a place to put the roof once you remove it.

So you can and do this whole process by yourself. However, if you have somebody in the passenger to help you with it, It is pretty easy. Both of you would grab each side, lift, and come to the back of the car. But if you’re by yourself, what you want to do is put your arm as far to the center, as you can, and you want to lift the front half first.

It’s pretty light. Just be careful. Once you have the roof, you want to be very careful with this next step. You want to align the roof up centered and right over these two latches that are in the trunk. You want to place the roof over the latches and it should fall right into place. Then you’ll see here on the bottom, these two latches, there are slots for each of them. Once you lined it all up, it’s locked in.

Okay, guys. Now we are behind the wheel of the Corvette, C7 Z06. We’ve used the selector to engage track mode and race handling. So we’re going to drive up and down Collins and I’m gonna do my best to react and tell you what it feels like to drive. Let’s do it.

Oh, my God. So the pops and the crackles from the exhaust system, definitely attention-grabbing. A whole lot of fun.

Oh, this is an addicting feeling. Okay. So how I feel driving this? The handling is actually really precise. Getting a lot of good feedback from people just driving by on the street and on the sidewalk. Like this car, maybe it’s the color and the exhaust people here, but it gets a lot of attention. Come to Miami, rent a car, get treated like a celebrity, or rent a car and look like a celebrity, like the whole experience. It’s a lot of fun. Are we gonna really step on it here?

Holy cow. So there was a little bit of peeling on the wheels, like we filled a little bit, not too bad, but if you’re driving this car, you should be careful. There’s a lot of power. So you gotta be responsible. You know, the famous quote with great power comes great responsibility. So when you’re driving a Corvette, definitely be smart.

Okay, guys, this completes our review of the Corvette, C7 Z06. This sports car with supercar performance is a blast to drive.
