Rolls Royce’s exclusive line of Black Badge vehicles has gained a new member with the Cullinan SUV. Featuring a boost in performance and an appearance package that blacks out most of the exterior, the Black Badge finds a way to improve on an already outstanding model.
The Black Badge is more than a simple appearance package. The base Cullinan’s already large twin-turbocharge 6.75L V12 sees a boost in power. The boosted engine now outputs an even more impressive 592 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. Sending power to all four wheels is a bespoke 8-speed automatic transmission. The custom transmission and updated throttle management work in tandem to give the Cullinan Black Badge more urgent accelerations. The braking bite point and pedal travel have also been raised to accommodate split-second decisions.
Despite its massive size and heavy weight, the Cullinan can hit 60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds.

INTERIOR –
The interior of the Rolls Royce Culianan is the standard against which every other luxury SUV measures up to. Known as “Technical Carbon Veneer,” this naked-weave carbon fiber finish features a distinctly 3D quality throughout its repeating geometric shapes. In true Rolls Royce fashion, each “leaf” of the carbon is finished with six coats of lacquer before being left to cure for three days and then hand-polished to a mirror finish. The process takes 21 days and is only complete once a craftsman scrutinizes the uniformity of all 23 pieces.
Rolls Royce’s Starlight Headliner is also found on the Black Badge, and it perhaps makes the most sense on a vehicle whose entire identity is to be darker than night itself. The headliner features 1344 fiber optic lights hand woven in a unique pattern. To further sell the night sky experience, the headliner incorporates shooting starts that appear at random intervals.
The aforementioned Technical Carbon surrounds a large touchscreen occupying the top of the center stack. Responsible for infotainment, the system is compatible with Apple CarPlay and can act as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
EXTERIOR –
